The brain is one of the most complex and magnificent organs in the human body. The human brain is the command center for the human nervous system. If you laid out all of the blood vessels of your brain then it becomes unimaginably lengthy and can reach 120,000 miles.

Our brain is 60% fat, brain contains extremely sensitive receptors like chemosensors and life current in the bulb of brain never goes off. The brain consists of the cerebrum, the brainstem, and the cerebellum. It gives us awareness of ourselves and of our environment, processing a constant stream of sensory data and controls our muscle movements.

Science has evolved to great height but still there are many amazing facts which are to be explored. Even great experts and doctors agree that there is more to know than we currently know about our brain.

The human brain is often called the ultimate supercomputer. Medical science can learn a lot about the brain ability of our species, but they have begun to take deep steps in one particular area of research. Could the power of the brain exceed his human master?

You will be surprised to know that one neuron can transmit about 1000 nerve impulses per second and can make millions of contacts with other neurons, there 10000 types of different neurons, average brain generates 50000 thoughts per day and can generate 12-25 watts of electricity.

Scientists are working hard on "mental telepathy" or trading thoughts. The question was posed in a laboratory during an experiment in which involving two rats. Those rats were equipped with separate electrodes in their brains. One similar task was assigned to transfer the action to a rat, and the other was to receive it.

The neuroscientists were shocked to find that the rats had the same reaction in 70% of their attempts. It means, they shared the brain. The most impressive part of this experiment was these rats were separated by thousands of miles distance. Their brain impulses were connected via the Internet.

We need to understand brain because of three important reasons. First, it is important for us to understand the human brain, if we want to live in a society, and this is a key step in evolution. The second reason is that you cannot continue animal experiments forever, and you must translate all your data and all your knowledge into a working model. It's like an archive.

And the third reason is that there are two billion people on the planet who suffer from mental disorders, and the medicines that are used today are mostly empirical.

Our brain could be better if we can know as why: Albert Einstein's brain was 10% smaller than average human being but still it was matchless, Mental workout increases the size of Hippocampus, average attention span of humans vary from 8 seconds to 12 seconds, brain cells can consume themselves during starvation, brain has no pain receptors etc.

Your brains are constantly trying to exert control over the outside world and thus absorb the outside world in this process. By understanding and manipulating this process, scientists can push humanity into exciting new directions.
